Senior Mens Green VS Barwon Heads, Away, 9-0 LOSS

Seven debutants joined the playing ranks of Colac Otway Rovers on Sunday in the loss against Barwon Heads. Rovers were committed all day but were outclassed by an experienced opposition team.

Senior Mens Gold VS Drysdale, Away, 4-0 Loss

A tough away assignment, the boys forced Drysdale to play their best. A couple of late withdrawals left our numbers short and an injury leaving no subs. A lack of legs saw the game get away from the boys, the opposition were very complementary of how competitive the team were.

U14 Girls

U14 Girls VS Port Fairy SC, Home, 8-7 Loss

The U14 Girls had a tremendous performance. After being down 6-2 at half-time, the girls nearly performed the comeback of a lifetime.

Five second Half goals from Mackenzie Rocka made things very interesting in the final minutes, but our girls just couldn't find the equaliser. Another fantastic display from a rising group of footballers.

U13 A

U13A VS Barwon Heads, Away, 5-0 Win

After an even start to the match, Mark Orlovskyi broke the deadlock with a well timed run to the back post. But the highlight of the day came a few minutes later. Orlovskyi found the ball in space outside the area and place a perfect ball into the top corner to give Rovers a 2-0 half time lead.

The second half saw our boys begin to dominate the game, strong running from Jasper Milner and Kade Genua caused the opposition plenty of headaches with the constant pressure resulting in 2 more goals.

U13 B

U13B VS North Geelong Warriors, Away, 5-5 Draw

Our U13 Black team played out a thrilling 5-5 draw at Nth Geelong. An own goal to the good, goals from Saxon Finn and Charlie Groves helped the Rovers to a 3-2 half time lead.

In a see-sawing second half, the lead changed hands constantly with great pressure and goals to Kayden Baker and Lachie Sheppard giving the Rovers a 5-4 lead with minutes to play. Our boys pushed hard for the win, with Nth Geelong equalising in the final minute.

An exciting finish to a great game.

U11 Wallabies

U11 Wallabies VS Geelong Rangers SC, Home, 16-0 Win

The Wallabies were at it again, putting goal after goal in the net on Sunday. After 7 last week Samuel Irunga found time to hit 10 past the keeper this week in another strong showing.

The team was well organised by Augie Carey through the midfield, and new players Gabriel McDonald and River Filice put in terrific performances.

A courageous game played out by the Joeys Black team. Despite the tough conditions, all players demonstrated strong resilience, which was rewarded with a late goal by Henry Walker.
