Senior Men's VS Golden Plains SC, Away, 4-0 Loss

A hard-fought game, only down 1-0 at half time. The Rovers gave it their all until the very end. A very strong defensive performance from our team under immense pressure.

Senior Women's

Senior Women's VS Surf Coast FC, Away, 6-0 Loss

It was another tough day out for our woman's team this week. We played Surf coast, who had some absolute superstars on their roster. We dropped a couple of early goals but made them work ultra hard for the rest. Our bench was rattled with illness which saw the core players all prove how far their match fitness has come with everyone on the pitch still running right up to the final whistle. Player of the match was Nikea who really took the game on from start to finish and never gave up.

Senior Men's Gold VS Armstrong United, Away, 1-0 Loss

Senior Men's Green VS Surf Coast FC, Away, 9-0 Loss

U14 Girls

U14 Girls vs Port Fairy SC, Home, 3-2 Loss

A tight game that was entertaining to watch, the girls played extremely well. Congratulations to the two girls who came up from their respective U11 teams to debut.  
 
 
 

U13 A

U13A VS Corio SC, Away, 11-1 Win

A strong performance against an opposition who have come up from B grade through the grading phase of the season.

Our boys passed the ball well and kept constant pressure on the Corio defence throughout the day. A steady stream of goals ensued with strong play from Dash Bannan, Finley Geary and Thor Medley.  With a few players out, and an U11 Forfeit, the team welcomed Samuel Irunga to the line up and he had a wonderful day in attack scoring 3 goals.

Solomon was a strong player all day linking the defence and attack out on the left wing, his run and combination with his teammates was great to watch.

U13 C

U13B VS Bell Park SC Tornadoes, Home, 8-0 Win

Our U13 Black team played out at Beeac against the Bell Park Tornadoes.  This team is building chemistry every week and were bolstered this week by the return of Bear Krueger from injury. 

Our boys got to half time with a 3 goal lead, and opened the floodgates in the second half to put a further 5 past the Bell Park defence. 

Charlie Groves was named best on the day, playing a strong game through midfield. 

A hatrick to Krueger and 2 goals to Lachie Sheppard with singles to Saxon Finn, Benji Dent and Cruz Matthews resulted in an 8-0 scoreline and the teams best result of the season.

Game was forfeited by North Geelong, automatic 3-0 win.

U11 Joeys Black VS Lara United FC Red, Away, 10-1 Win

Great win for our team. Isaac Comley Player of the day. Alby Hammond 4, Henry Walker 3, Roy Carey 2 and Tom Glennen 1. Hudson Greenfield showing real team commitment by playing goalie for the whole game.

U11 Joeys Green

U11 Joeys Green VS Lara United FC Blue, Away, 11-0 Win

The U11 Joeys Green team have been a revelation this season.  These kids have graduated from the club's  Mini Roos program of 2024 and have taken to competition football effortlessly. 
It was goals galore as Aubrey Finn scored his first hattrick for the club Archie Tanis, Toby Williams and Joe Gardiner all scored a brace in the early Green team kick off.   
The strong wins set up another great Joeys Derby on June 29th at Western Reserve, where local bragging rights will go on the line as our youngest Rovers battle it out.
