Senior Mens VS Barwon Heads, Home, 8-1 Win

The Senior Men had a strong 8-1 win against Barwon Heads at Beeac. Strong performances from Jared Holt in defence, Keith Maridzo up front and our captain Oaklee Balboni.

Senior Women's

Senior Women's VS Bell Park, Away, 17-0 Loss

Our Senior Women played a tough first match against Division 1-bound Bell Park. The girls battled hard but were well beaten on the day. They will play Bellarine Sharks in a home opener on Saturday, May 3rd at 11 am. This match will be a more even contest for the 2 new teams playing against each other.

Senior Mens Gold VS Bell Park, Forfeit, 3-0 Win

Juniors

U14 Girls

U14 Girls VS Warrnambool Rangers, Home, 12-7 Win

Our U14 Girls had a successful start to their SWVFA season with a strong 12-7 win against Warrnambool Rangers.  Elle Russell starred with 7 goals, the Thomas sisters Florence and Adela provided strong runs all day and young Mackenzie Rocka was a standout through midfield in her first game of soccer.

U13 A

U13A VS Geelong SC, Home, 10-1 Win

Or U13 A team, now playing in their third season together, outclassed a Geelong SC team to the tune of a 10-1 victory.  Finley Geary took home the match ball with a hat trick, while Jasper Milner spent all day pulling the strings in midfield in a best on ground performance.  Dash Bannan was ever reliable in defence.

U13 B

U13B VS FC Leopold, Home, 5-2 Loss

The U13 Black team were first underway on Western Reserve in the 9am fixture. A solid performance for the team with 5 or 6 new players. Our boys played out an even first half with Bear Krueger always a threat going forward and Cruz Matthews proving dangerous out on the wing. Benji Dent was our player of the match, leading the midfield strongly. The boys were defeated 5-2 but put in a great effort.

U11 Wallabies 

U11 Wallabies VS Geelong City FC, Away, 14-1 Win

The U11 Wallabies team, now playing in their second season together, enjoyed a strong win 14-1 to kick off the season in style. Samuel Irunga was unstoppable up forward with 7 goals. New player Gabriel McDonald made a great start in his Rovers debut, and Charlie Galea was a rock between the posts.

Our Black team won 8-5 with Roy Carey as player of the match and Henry Walker scoring 4 goals.
